The AS-REST is a metal accessory that can support pipes horizontally.
Commonly used to seat horizontal pipes that act as paper roll holders or as cable reels, due to the fact that the pipe can be moved easily.
It is also used as part of a folding shelf or structure to secure an extension from closing by resting on a horizontal pipe when in the up position and allowing it to retract in combination with an HJ-12 as a folding arm when in the down position.
